Is it just me or are you feeling the same way about the fully-crewed Groupama attempt on the round the world record? It just doesn't capture my imagination, especially after the heroics of Francis Joyon doing it single-handed and absolutely obliterating the record of the much over-hyped Dame Stella Macartney of Bond Street. I must qualify this by saying that I do really like Frank Cammas; and the Groupama project is pretty damned awesome but I get the daily updates from the website, read about one line, and then hit the delete button. Call me a cynic but I rarely take anything on face value and why would you choose the current weather window? Just a thought.... more »
