l will post some of my favourite pics here but to start, take the time to have a quick flick through these shots by Fried Elliott. Unreal, not sure how many people have seen a Star Capsize???? The leaders of this race (us) were lucky enough to have rounded the bottom mark in only 30knts before the gust hit the middle of the fleet sailing down wind and caused all the carnage. Seriously, all boats are hard to sail in a breeze but Stars with their huge Mains and Runners are a real fight to sail let alone race, always on the edge! Maybe we should up the wind limit in the Cup to see some of this sort of action???!!!
