RESERVE DAY...............REST DAY
Because the conditions have allowed us to Race every day scheduled so far todays "Reserve Day" becomes a "Rest Day".We were out on the Road this morning for a ride out around the Keys to help keep the blood flowing in the legs and then down to the boat for a few small jobs before throwing the cover on and getting out of there. Reflecting on the first half of the regatta, there are a lot of things we can be quite happy about. Our Sail Choices so far have been sound, Boat Speed has been good. An important lesson learned on Day 2 with the Black Flag but not one to over analyze, coming out for Day 3 and having a strong result flushes most of those Demons away. From all the good stuff coming through it has enabled us to highlight some areas that we need to put more focus towards. In particular - Down Wind technique and Corners. Identifying these things allows us to plan our time in the lead up to China and therefore always getting faster.We are all smiling, Miami is providing some sensational sailing conditions, and were enjoying what we are doing, which is a pretty important element to doing anything well in my mind!
