DAY 1 - RACE 1
Conditions: 7-9knts from the E to ESE.Placing: Top Mark 20th - Bottom Mark 8th - Top Mark (2) 9th - Bottom Mark (2) 14th - Finish (Upwind) 12thAll in all it was a good day. Very tricky conditions and there were some of the top contenders finishing well below the 20's!We started slightly down the line and after a few tacks managed to find some good lanes to the top mark, from there we sailed really well down wind making the most of our oppourtunities to move up the placings. Some weed at the bottom of the second run cost us a little and got back two placings on the upwind leg to the finish.Long races, very tactical sailing but were still smiling!!
