Round the "World" record attempt...
He may have announced his retirement from top flight (geddit?) Mothing but Rohan Veal is down in that America's Cup mecca of Dubai awaiting the wind with another load of Foilers ahead of a record attempt around the "World". My spies say that it's going to be 20 knots tomorrow (cheers Chris) and I'm just itching for the photos to come in from Monsieur Martinez who's down there to capture the boys in action. Then there's a trial of the new slalom courses (see below) on Thursday which should be very interesting with the Moths at full tilt...camera and spectator opportunities at every mark. There should be an ISAF delegate at every mark too...or perhaps we could throw the executive committee in the drink and use their bobbing heads as buoys? Perhaps then they'd get the message... How come the Olympics doesn't stir the loins like the Moths? Oh yes, that'll be because the Olympic classes pre-date the jurassic era before man could actually stand up straight...
