If I was a rich man....
Every time I see "Wild Oats" it just make me salivate. What an impressive machine she is and this ticks just about every box in my book. I love the fact that Bob Oatley not only put her back together after that dismasting back in September but he also took her back to the drawing board and increased her performance. She is just a sublime thoroughbred Ocean Racer and I'll bet it's just a dream to sail - no wonder the cream of the circuit are gagging to get onboard...If I were 13 right now, I'd have a poster of Oats on my wall...seeing as I'm 36, I think I'll have a framed photo!
