Roll on summer...
I'm very thankful to the quite excellent Di Pearson who's been doing a marvellous PR job for Australia and the myriad events that have been going on down there since Christmas and once again she's delivered with some great shots of the Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta that's currently underway. Looking at the photos in the gloom and rain of early March in London, it just makes me want the clocks to go back and the summer to arrive...I've got a good feeling that 2008 is going to be a cracking sailing year in the Northern Hemisphere - just so long as selfish sailors don't try hijacking events and promoting their own country's regatta by assuming that the world's media will fall at their feet because they sail a canting keel yacht.
