Let me make this absolutely clear - I now firmly loathe and despise Geoff Stagg - this man is about to be the downfall of my marriage, my finances and possibly my entire life because he's just gone and announced that he's starting to build new Mumm 30's (I'm not calling it an M30) and I really, really, really want one! Not only that but he's sticking Harken deck gear on the new ones! What are you trying to do to me man? I've managed to sneak a quite stunning Carroll Marine Mumm under the Mrs W radar (I don't dare mention it at home now) and now he's gone and bought the moulds and the first boats will roll out of the new US Watercraft yard in late Spring. My credit card is sweating and whenever I put my wallet in my pocket I burn through my trousers. This is just agony...and then he emails me with the following words: "Its a great boat and I had a ball last year sailing my M 30 with my 2 kids in Wednesday night racing...They are a bit older than Harry at 12 and 15 but when we developed the boat I always had in mind it was a boat to introduce kids into keel boats being fast easy and fun to sail." So now I've got to have another child just to make sure I can compete in a few years time.... Hey, I can almost a see a cunning plan. I get a new Mumm, Mrs W gets a new baby! Hold on, i'll be back...
