Congratulations to Richard Matthews, big cheese at Oyster Marine who, according to this morning's London Financial Times "will sail off with a cheque for at least £50m from selling Oyster Marine, the luxury British yacht maker he founded 35 years ago, to Balmoral Capital, the nascent private equity firm." You have to admire any man that builds a business from an early age and manages to steer it all the way to a buyout and not only that, Oyster yachts are probably the most desirable on the market right now.
