Can you imagine chartering this for Cowes Week?
Not being funny but if you wanted to completely steal the headlines at Cowes Week 2008 and have armies of press and photo boats chasing you all over the Solent then you just have to charter Steinlager II for the week. I mean this is about as guaranteed to get press coverage as Britney Spears falling out of an LA nightclub...and the great thing is that you can get the old crate for a relative pittance and invite all your mates (and their mates) along for a trip down memory lane (sail, shurely?). I got an email today from the charter company that's running the boat and I reckon they're up for a deal plus I've insisted that my cut is a pint of beer in the PV if someone reads this and reaches for the chequebook...so come on my lovely readers, make Cowes Week really special with Big Red thundering around the Solent...it would be classic!
