"D-48 hours" to the Space Shuttle lift off...
Good old Franck Cammas - never one to shy away from adding a bit of drama to proceedings. Apparently the Groupama boys are now on "Code Jaune" with "D-48 hours" to lift off...oh purrrrllleeeeassse! It's a sailing race, not the freakin' Space Shuttle! There's an old phrase in boxing that says if you talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk... Anyhow, sounds like they've assembled a good team of hairy, smelly offshore monkeys to get this beast around the world and I wish them luck if they do get away. However who wants to take a bet with me that they don't beat Joyon's single-handed record let alone Peyron's time? I reckon they'll get to Australia if they're lucky before Groupama falls to pieces... (And for the record I'm on Code Purple, covered in honey and feathers with the RORC committee whipping me....)
