Of Nesting and Nesters
ABYC has quite a few 'nesters' at the moment. For the uninformed or terminally monogamous a 'nester' is one who for one or other reason finds the need to consort in a loving manner with a member of the opposite sex. This often leads to a condition of 'sailitis' which, in turn, results in a general deterioration of the maintenance plan needed to keep ones yacht in tip top condition. Now, this is where it gets interesting as Phil and Crew discovered that 'nesting' is also cross species contagious as placed neatly on their main sail was a BIRDS NEST. Now Molly Clements (another 'nester') has suggested that we bronze the BIRDS NEST and offer it as a 'Nesting' Trophy to the 'nester' of the year. In the running so far are Andre, Dave, PJ, Safe Phil and Molly. Full Story »
