New facilities at Bristol Harbour
New pump-out facilities have opened in Bristol Harbour aimed at improving the marine environment for boaters. The new facilities form part of Bristol Harbour's 'Get On Board' campaign, which seeks to maintain and improve water quality through improved drainage arrangements and other initiatives. The British Marine Federation, representing over 1,600 industry members, and the Royal Yachting Association, representing thousands of boaters around the UK, are two of the partner organisations driving the project through their Green Blue initiative.
