We just wanted to point out that some of the live music emanating from the team base after racing the last few evenings has been courtesy of our resident rock star Peter "Pedro" Isler (USA, sailing team). Last night Jane Eagleson (USA, media relations) grabbed a guitar and wowed the crowd by accompanying Pedro as he sang "Heaven's Door." No, the tune was not dedicated to ETNZ. Pedro and Jane were backed by a local combo hired by the marketing department to provide post-race entertainment for our VIP guests, including pros on the keyboards and drums, and an aged, journeyman bass player who, at least in this shot, appears to be in acute pain -- perhaps sore fingers from too much blogging.
