(Why Not Take) All of Me
Last evening after racing we had a bit of a gig at our team base, and we played among other tunes this Frank Sinatra hit. One of our guests asked for the lyrics, and after googling them up just now, it occurs to your Ed. that the words are apropos of any number of current AC affairs, including yesterday's pre-start and, who knows, maybe today's. We shall soon see who's singing.... All of me - why not take (come on get) all of me Can't you see - I'm no good (just a mess) without you Take my lips - I want to lose them Take (Get a piece of) my (these) arms - I'll never use them Your good-bye - left me with eyes that cry How can I - get along (ever make it) without you (You know) You took (got) the part - that once was (used to be) my heart So why not - why not take all of me Alinghi got taken to the cleaners in yesterday's pre-start. ETNZ has port entry today, but expect them to go for the lips (no Dalts, we're not talking "man love" here) if not the jugular again today. Full Story »
