Benjamin Friedhoff & Johanna Munding of Germany won Kiel Week in a tight finish. 71 boats competed with a close finish. Friedhoff/Munding edged Polish sailors Przybytek/Mongird by 1 point; who tied with Cnudde/Kerhascoet of France. British sailors Ellis/Partridge followed 1 point behind with 20. The top female team of Weguelin/Ainsworth of GBR rounded out 5th with 22.
