Things are heating up around here, and not just figuratively now that ETNZ have evened up the series at 1-1. Today it reached 39C at our home up in the hills northeast of Valencia, and we are usually three or four degrees cooler than in town. The pool even is 30C. 39C is 102F, making this, one believes, the first "century" temp. day of the year. At least it is very, very dry (feels like a Southern California Santa Ana), and there is a strong southwesterly breeze. Tomorrow it is forecast to be much cooler (28C - 82F), with a return to a soft easterly seabreeze, perhaps softer than Sunday's 9-10 knots. Even cooler (25C) and maybe softer on Wednesday.
