AC Outdraws Rugby in NZL; Dicko Rides the Airwaves
Skyping this morning with Sail-World's NZ editor, Richard Gladwell (NZL), who is in NZL but wishing he were here in VLC: On TVNZ: You heard that the Am Cup out-rated the All Black Rugby test on Saturday night? Both started at the same time and drew audiences of 200,000 plus each from a population of 4 million - means that 10% of the population were up watching live sport at 0100! On Dicko's new role as a pundit: CD was on www.newstalk.co.nz around 5.20pm, and put his finger on the same points I had made about Alinghi and TNZ. He sounded good. I'm sure they will get him on a lot more now they know he will sing, and does it well.
