Spirit of Innovation Award for Halyard
Halyard Marine Ltd, a leader in the design and manufacture of marine exhaust silencing and engine noise reduction solutions, has won the Spirit of Innovation Award at this year's Seawork exhibition. Halyard received the award in recognition of its patented Resonator Silencer, which was launched in January 2007. The firm says that the Resonator Silencer is a world leading technical breakthrough in the reduction of exhaust noise by filtering out specific problem noise frequencies from a band centred around the engine's firing frequency.
