From an insightful story in the Sunday Telegraph by Kate Laven (two glaring factual errors notwithstanding -- apparently they do not ask Tim Jefferey to proof-read her work): Two times AC campaigner Mike Sanderson, team director for the British Team Origin (AC 33 challenger) who will campaign the next America's Cup (wherever it is), has been in Valencia for a month buying up hardware and hands for the British campaign. "It is a tough one because the two teams have such different approaches but Alinghi will be worried that it has not been as windy as expected because they go best in the 12-20 knot range," he said.
