Second Coastal Race Today's Coastal race was a repeat of yesterdays race but in a reverse rotation. A long beat to and around the Tabarca island, taking it to starboard, down to a leeward mark, windward, leeward and finishing of the Alicante breakwater. Again the fleet split in two, Cam, Patches, Aifo and Tau headed to the headland. It looked pretty scary for the fleet on the left like they might be banging the corner. The boats on the right sailed into a 15 degree lift and looked pretty good. The boats on the left like Mutua and Artemis and Mean Machine came back with better pressure being further outside. As the boats on the left and right came together, Cam which had one of the best starts, continued on way past the boats which had come in from the left and paid dearly for it. Those who had gone left early and stayed in the middle afterwards did well, Mean Machine, Bribon, Mutua Madrulena.
