After Ernesto's interview in yesterday's IHT (and New York Times), today the NZ Herald website ran a story with views from Downunder on Alinghi's criticism of Team NZ and kiwi fans. A goodie from an Aussie: "Whoa! Isn't there still 9 races to go? Settle down you lot, we have choked to many times before on the international stage to be too cocky. Sail hard and may TNZ win :-)" My favorite: "Kiwi supporters should refrain from any type of odd behaviour as it will only get back to Helen who will in turn ban all yachting in NZ under the no more fun bill which she will pass through parliament."
