Shifty winds delay start and some are fighting to stay alive, others for the right to choose their opponent in the semis, and others don’t have anything to gain personally but can affect the overall outcome. The big race of the day was Shosholoza getting a penalty on Mascalzone at the start and keeping in the game until they would have to do a circle before finishing. They had the distance but stalled out, the main didn´t go out and held them up, allowing Shosh to slide in for the win. Meanwhile, it is a busy sunny day at the port with outside and local tourists, the Estrella bar hopping at the end of the day and the superyacht marina as well. Full Story »
