Team Eagle applied to US Sailing on January 6 to receive one of the first boats available to the US. Our application was met with approval, and we have made our first payment to secure the boat. Delivery of the boat is expected in April. We are one of three teams in the US to receive a SKUD-18 in April. US Sailing's decision signifies that Team Eagle is a strong contender to represent the US at the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing.
