Preparing for St. Petersburg
We are hard at work preparing for our first event for 2006. St. Petersburg will see some of the best two-person teams in North America descend upon its city for several days of practice and competition. Maureen will leave on the 17th with the boat, lent by DBMS, in tow followed by Mark flying down on the 19th. For Team Eagle, the Midwinters in St. Petersburg will represent the first chance to sail in 2006. We anticipate meeting several other teams from the USA and Canada that are campaigning for the two-person sailing event in Beijing. Betsy Alison, who was recently hired as the full-time US Disabled Sailing Team Coach by US Sailing, will be in attendance and working with US sailors prior to the event. Full Story »
