Pre-In port Race Skippers Press Conference
It was a short and sweet press conference with no one really asking hard questions. Off the hook I would say, people are also being pretty kind to Ericcsson, though the "feeling" is more of tolerance... Some notable quotes: "...we have a strong team spirit" ~ Anders Lewander, Ericsson and the state of the team with the current state of affairs over the jury's decision. "...these boats are like animals, hard boats..." ~ Kenny Read, Puma with regards to sailing the V70 in close proximity to other V70s. "...doing the race of your dreams." ~ Ger O'Rourke, Delta Lloyd on what has motivate him to take on the challenge of a VOR campaign. "Can't wait to start tomorrow!...hope the keel system works." ~ Andreas Hanakamp, Team Russia on racing tomorrow (he was very enthusiastic!) but they were unable to cant their keel during practice yesterday.
