home again!Hamish and l arrived home (Rocafort, Valencia) from Qingdao late last night. We are straight into our top secret Olympic preparation at the BMW Oracle base. Next big event on the calander (no not the Olympics) but the Lillia Trophy on Lake Como, Italy (25th-27th July). Lillia is the boat builder for over half of the Oympic fleet due to Torben Graels domination of past Olympics with Lillia and we have used their boats the whole way through our campaign. The boats are built in Muso, Lake Como (worth a Google map!) and they hold an annual regatta out the front of the boat yard. Should be a lot of fun 06, 07 Champion Xavier Rohart (French Olympic rep) needs to be ready for a fight to defend his title! Performance at this regatta is always closely monitored this close to the Olympic Games.Look forward to posting a few updates and some photos over the next couple of weeks.Oh yeah! Go Valverde. First big mountain stage today and lets see if he can get Cadel in the 'hurt box" early. Similar to my dominance of Lance Maitland (Cyco) on the numerous hills of North Auckland. Full Story »
