Tabuaeran: Sail, Surf, and Kite Expedition: Half way home...
It has been three days since we left Tabuaeran and we are currently at the half way point on our sail back to Maui. We've spent the past few days looking over all the photos from our stay in Fanning and going through withdrawls from having to leave our small atoll paradise. It was probably a good thing that it rained nonstop on our last day there but as we headed out through the pass for the last time, the waves were still coming in one after another, making leaving that much harder. Guess we can't feel too bad though since we are leaving one tropical setting for another and I think we are all ready for a hot shower and having Google at our finger tips again. For now, all we can do is enjoy our time out at sea and the final days of isolation from the busy world of reality. Dinner tonight will be one of the mahi mahi we caught yesterday afternoon, which everyone is very thankful for since it has been a nonstop SPAMathon for the past few meals - spam speghetti...mmmmm.
