More fog than you could poke a weed stick at!!!
And there was no wind! However it still was a really productive day, preparing for the impending days on the water, just being here and dealing with the climate and learning about the venue is all really important to our prep. It was reported today that 10,000 Chinese Soldiers have arrived in town to help the Algie clean up (The Chinese Military is the largest employer in the world employing around 4 Million people!!). Hopefully they have more than the rake being modeled in the pic above by coach Mark Bradford!!All sailors were held ashore, visibility would have been down to about 50m at times. On a real positive note it does seem that all the Athletes are starting to get their head around Qingdao as a race venue and host city. A lot more smiling faces, it really is quite an amazing place and this Olympic Sailing Venue will truly propel it further! You just need to be good at sailing in the light air!!!!More after tomorrow.
