Aquila Pacific: Almost on course at 50
What a perfect metaphor for my life - we're almost on course. But really, this is one of the best birthdays I have had, and I have had a lot of good ones. Forgive me if I wax a little self-indulgent. But isn't that what blogging is about? I think of the first known picture of me - still in my mom's womb, as she squeezed next to the shrouds on the family cruiser, Claudia. And now, 50 years and about 5 boats later, I am still squeezing past the shrouds. Its been a good course, when I think back on all the adventures and all the lovely people I have known.
