Well it was a full WELCOME BACK day today. The crazy Taxi ride from the Hotel to the Yacht Club kicked it all off. From there we had torrential rain for most of the day. Sailing conditions were the usual very light winds. Although seeing the Algie out there was one of the most amazing things at a sailing venue l have seen! And not just the Algie, it was as if the bay was a giant swimming pool being cleaned by over 200 Chinese fishing boats. All loaded up with Chinamen, algie and giant pool skimmers!! A real sight to be seen and hopefully the pictures do it justice.On a performance note 8187 is back together and our first day sailing is planned for tomorrow. It is good to be back and l prob felt the strongest Olympic emotions to date, should be fun managing those as time rolls on! Full Story »
