Its not always about the Boat
We get to travel to some pretty cool places all over the World doing what we do. One of our most important accesories is our bikes. It is one of my personal missions at every new place to nut out the best local rides and find the best bike shop (hence the birth of BiciVida). Holland is literally the "Land of the Bike". Their bike lane system is more intricate than their roads, and l think its against the law to not own a bike!! Also the Dutch can lay claim to some of the top Road Cyclists of all time and Team Rabobank one of the top current Pro Teams. So every morning before racing l set out in the bright but brisk Medemblik Morning to wake up both Mentally and physically. Only out there for an hour then back to the hotel for Breke and a quick briefing. Here are a couple of pics l took this morning at 615am. And going off the scenery here on Lake Como l should have some pretty epic pics soon. And for the other Cycling fans out there that follow the blog, the Giro d'Italia rides straight through the town we are staying in on Wednesday. Full Story »
