2000km and 18 Hours later
We arrived in "Balmy" Medmblik. The whole team is here including Coaches Rod Davis and David Giles. The boat already has its mast in and we will be out there tomorrow putting NZL 8358 through more of its paces.The trip was pretty brutal, leaving Valencia at 6pm on Saturday night with Hamish at the wheel we drove through to 10pm where we had a first Fuel stop of Many for the thirsty BMW Oracle Racing 7 series (life's tough!haha). From there l took the Grave yard shift 1015pm through to 630am. Pulled in for a Quick coffee just south of Luxembourg and then Gilsey and Hamish finished the last 500km off into Medemblik, Holland.Excited to be back at another regatta, starting to get back into Race mode. Sjaan, Crue and Ryds are all settled in Valencia with Annabell and Saxon just around the Corner.Racing starts Wednesday so reports will be on the go from tomorrow. Full Story »
