2000 km Valencia-Medemblik (Ned). Tomorrow we pull out of the BMW Oracle Base here in Valencia with the new NZL 8358 in tow.Today we finished the 5 day block of testing the new boat. Valencia really turned on some awesome conditions specific to what we are looking for in China. The light winds and choppy sea provided the platform for some great testing against Mark Mendleblatt and David Giles.How did the new boat go?? Well like us your going to have to "wait and see". Proof will be in the pudding, the first regatta will be the true test. Anyway, 24 hours driving is the first hurdle for this new boat. A MASSIVE thank you must go to Everyone at BMW Oracle Racing here in Valencia, the Team have been amazingly supportive and helped out where ever possible. Bryce and Ado in the Rig shop, Ben in the Kitchen, the whole Sailing Team, Guthrie for letting us clog up his yard with Star boats, rigs, sails etc etc. We look forward to getting back there in June for some more China prep.
