CHIQUI's ADVENTURES: Bahama Trip Day 48 Thursday
Thursday,May 15th, We have finally arrived in Little Harbor! It was not easy or smooth or comfortable but we made it today.We left Marsh Harbor this morning at 9am and had a great trip up to the last two miles.At that point we had to travel close to the ocean and the waves were hitting the Chiqui on the side and had us rocking like a roller coaster! Anything that wasnt nailed down fell on the floor.It a small channel coming in here and the ocean swells made it very nerve racking but once inside the harbor and on the mooring ball we could relax at last.Got here at 4pm and had Lenny over for supper.Bob is suppose to join us tomorrow. We are going to spend a week here and plan on leaving on the 23rd to start our trip back home.I signed up for a week of wireless internet while here so I can update the blog daily.Hope to get some good pictures to put on.Going to explore the caves here tomorrow.All the pictures that I put on while here will be under the Little Harbor Photo's. Havent heard from Midori since they made it back to Green Turtle.Hope they are making there way back without any problems. The weather and winds here can keep you stuck in one place for days.You really cant do anything unless the weather lets you.Well its getting late so better close for now. Full Story »
