Circle Sailing: The Weather Guys
Today there was supposed to be 19 mph winds, per the weather people, but when I talked with Mike he said there was no wind. He had called the weather people (www.yachtweather.com) and had asked them....."where's the wind?" They reported he would have to go 50 miles north in order to get some wind and then turn back to approach Horta from that direction. Beings he is only 110 miles from land now, he decided to forget the wind and just motor. He plans to reach Horta on Saturday morning. Full Story »
