MIST: Infinity's preps to leave French Polynesia
Infinity is happily back in the warm waters of French Polynesia just about ready to sail back to the Pacific Northwest. Elba and I arrived in Papeete about three weeks ago to put Infinity back in the water. She has been resting in the small marina in Taravao on Tahiti- Iti and was a very moldy vessel after 9 months on the hard. We scrubbed her back to brillance in time for a quick sail to Cook's Bay in Moorea. Once back in Marina Taina our final days aboard our little boat are over. She will be delivered this month via Hawaii to Port Townsend by two able sailers Michael Kramer and Raymond Donnelly who have arrived and taken charge of Infinity. Both skippers Ray and Michael have sailboats in Mexico; where we orginally met them last season before making our first Pacific crossing. Full Story »
