Parry's Sail To the Baltic / Kiel to Massholm
The plan was to move north towards Flensberg where Di could catch a train from Hamburg on Friday. We made our way to Massholm sailng nearly all the way in light airs – great sailing in these conditions with no tide and flat seas. The weather has been consistently good with continuous blue skies and getting warmer all the time. Again anchored outside marina in flat calm and 3m with no tide to contend with. Wandered into town which is very pretty. David bought a baseball cap with mASSHOLm wrritten on it – I keep seeing it without the m’s on it – he stopped wearing it now!!! Meanwhile Di was living it up in 5x luxury in Luton Hoo – I think I prefer the boat at anchor on a warm sunny evening with a cool beer! Full Story »
